Introduction

Everyone hits a rough patch in his or her life at some time. Many of us find it hard to speak to our family or friends about our worries. Sometimes we feel stuck or isolated and want to speak to someone who is impartial and can accept us just as we are.

Maybe we have difficulty articulating our problems: we are simply not accustomed to speaking about our emotions. Sometimes a problem has been going on for our whole lives, and we just want it to stop.

Counselling is a way of dealing with any of these difficulties. Counselling offers people the opportunity to find out why they are having problems, or why life sometimes feels pointless or even unbearable.

Help With Depression in Boston

Counselling offers people opportunities for change by helping them to develop self-awareness, to build on their strengths and to increase their self-confidence.

People often seek help when faced with:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Sexuality Issues
  • Relationships
  • Eating Disorders
  • Bereavement
  • Abuse
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Lack of Confidence
  • Stress
  • Trauma
  • Cultural issues
  • Personal Development
  • Disability

In addition, many more problem situations can be helped when talking to a counsellor. No matter what situation is causing you pain, it is you, the person, who holds the key. Each one of us is a unique human being and will deal with life differently yet sometimes feel powerless to change the situation we are in. Through exploration, you can discover your way forward in life.

Caron Oyston is an experienced and qualified counsellor. She is a senior Accredited therapist with the BACP and has worked with all of the listed problem situations.

She has an accessible counselling practice in Boston and works with people from across Lincolnshire.

If you would like to talk to her informally, and in confidence, please do not hesitate to contact her. You can telephone or e-mail Caron via the details provided on her contact page.

Fees vary between £22 to £32 per session depending on individual circumstances and needs. Couples counselling fees are £35 per hour. Concessionary rates are also available, please ring to enquire.
